THE BRIEF
Finding a clean two door, two wheel drive Tahoe is getting harder every year, and this one is the real deal — a solid, rust free Texas truck with no air bags. It's high mileage, but that doesn't matter here: the plan is to replace all the guts with the latest and greatest anyway. Picture a Roadster Shop chassis under it, a modern engine and drivetrain, custom wheels, ice cold new air conditioning, and custom paint over body mods that can be as subtle or as loud as you want. The renderings shown are a direction study — one take on what this truck could be. Buy it as-is and we'll build it to your vision.

A direction study for the 96 Tahoe — laid out on custom wheels with a graphic splatter livery, roof rack, and clean OBS lines. The truck itself is a solid, rust free Texas two door ready for a Roadster Shop chassis, modern drivetrain, and whatever paint and body direction the buyer wants.

C005The right starting point
Real two door, two wheel drive, non air bag OBS Tahoe out of Texas. Rust free and straight. High mileage is a non-issue when the whole driveline is coming out.
C006Chassis and driveline
A Roadster Shop chassis is the plan underneath, paired with a modern engine and transmission package. Custom wheels and a proper stance finish the look.
C007Paint, body, and comfort
Custom paint over subtle or not-so-subtle body mods, plus a full new air conditioning system and a modernized interior. Direction gets locked in with the buyer.
