These are the best quality made in the USA dimple dies available. These four crater maker dies are CNC machined from 4140 alloy steel, heat-treated for hardness, Sizes are #10, 1/4", 5/16" and 3/8". The #10 uses a dowel pin to align the dies while the others use threaded bolts. The 5/16 and 3/8 bolts can be used to draw the dies together however this hardware is not meant to last forever. We recommend using the provided hardware as alignment pins or starting bolts and finishing the operation with a large bench vice or hydraulic press. The Crater Makers require a lot of force, much more than some of our other dies. Use Anti-Seize or other lube to prevent galling of threads and dies!

These quick attachment lugs, a Hammer Fab exclusive are a great way to mount, hang, attach, or latch components on your hot rod, custom car, or bike. The final result is a clean look both when the component is attached and when it is removed. No special tools are required to remove the panels using this system. A firm pull and the panel will pop off. The lugs can be bolted to a panel from the backside using a machine screw or welded on the stud. This is the best quality made in the USA dimple die available. Need to add a little bit of detail to your work? Drill or punch a 1/4” hole where you would like this detail then use either an impact hammer (air or cordless) or a hydraulic press to drive these dies together and form a unique "Crater" in your panel. These dimple dies are made from 4140 alloy steel and then hardened and tumbled for a smooth finish. Dimensions are 1.5" diameter by approximately 1" combined height. These dies have been tested on 22, 20, and 18ga mild steel. 18 gauge mild steel is the maximum capacity. Each kit comes with a grade 8 hardened nut and bolt for die alignment.(NOTE) The final hole size will naturally end up slightly larger than the 1/4” that it started out as. This is normal and you should plan on using a flanged bolt or a washer with your fastener. Anti-seize should be used on threads and forming surfaces to prevent galling and it also aids in the removal of dies from the panel. Some distortion will occur to your panel, therefore either some pre-stretching of the area may be required, and/or correction to the surrounding area may be needed depending on the metal type, thickness, and application.

This Gapper Pad is designed by Hammerfab to help you get those door gaps set to the desired gap for a crisp, clean look. We chose the most common sizes, 1/8", 3/16", and 1/4". (These measurements include the thickness of a 3M Greencorp 50grit Roloc disc attached to the backer. Thickness may vary depending on which style or brand of discs you are using). It has the same 1/4" steel arbor as our 3" Backer Pads. Dimples on the backside are there for better grip while removing disks.

These are the best quality made in the USA dimple dies available. These dies are designed to recess the flange of a riv nut in a sheet metal panel. This allows you to bolt two panels together without the obstruction of a riv nut head. These dies are CNC machined from 4140 Pre-hard alloy steel. These all have 1/4-20 threads on the female die. Drill a 1/4" hole in your panel, install the dimple, then drill the 1/4" hole out to the proper size for the desired riv nut. De-burr and install the riv nut. NOTE: *A step bit or uni-bit works best for getting closer to your final hole size. This will keep the hole centered with the dimple. *Can be installed with a bolt but works best when installed with our HF-D100 hydraulic installation tool with 3750 lbs of pull force. Installation tool not included!

Hammerfab designed this ULTRA FLEX 3 inch rubber backing pad for Roloc style disks with various unique features. Our backer ensures your abrasive disk stays flat throughout use, unlike other brands that lose their shape over time. Made of durable, flexible rubber, it is also sturdy enough to maintain its shape. This high-quality FLEX backer has passed multiple drop tests from over 12 feet, even when installed on an air tool. Its 1/4" stainless steel arbor fits most tools, while the dimples on the backside provide better grip when removing disks. Available in black.

This is the best quality made in the USA dimple die available. This #10 Crater Maker is the little brother to our 1/4" Crater Maker. CNC machined from 4140 alloy steel and heat-treated for hardness. These dimple dies to press a unique detail around your #10 fasteners on your inner fenders, engine compartment, or another attachment area that needs a little strength and style. Comes with an alignment pin for installation with a vise or press. Works great with button heads, 12pt fasteners, and socket cap screws. Note: *do not press on alignment pin* Made in the USA

Crater Maker Washers are designed to complement our Crater Maker Dimple dies. The washers give a "bolt-on" detail. The washers will match our Dimple Dies exactly. The washers are stamped out of laser-cut 18ga Stainless Steel. We individually polish and package each stainless crater. You’ll receive a perfectly polished piece saving you hours of polishing work. The edge of the washer sits off the panel at the center the washer makes contact. If your paint or polished surface is marred it will be hidden. These are designed to work with the most common fasteners such as button heads, ARP, and Socket cap style screws. All washers come as a set of 10. The washers are available in raw, polished, and Cerakote black finishes. (Cerakote parts are done in lots so different lots may vary in color and sheen) All designed, manufactured, and packaged in the USA!

These billet latches allow you to eliminate your old clangy chains. No more scratching your paint job or beautiful patina. These utilize the original chain mounting points both on the tailgate and on the bed end cap. You will need to re-tap the bed hole to 1/2-13 threads and drill the hole on the tailgate tab out to 1/2”. That’s it! Then bolt these bad boys on for a stylish look. The kit comes with some trick stainless hardware which is what helps make this a clean install. The push-button pins are stainless as are the 1/2-13 receptacles. The billet aluminum latches swing out of the way on a 316 stainless steel shoulder bolt with a pre-installed threaded insert. Also included are two tailgate stops “Flippers” which eliminate your tailgate chains and those unsightly scissor holds or cables. They can be installed on the bottom edge of your tailgate with minimal cutting and drilling and hold your tailgate open at a 90 degree angle. When installed correctly you won’t even be able to see them. The stops are laser cut from 1/2” thick steel and come pre-drilled and tapped and also come with the necessary stainless hardware and instructions. They create a raised bump upward and have a countersunk bottom that is designed to work with standard 82 degree countersunk fasteners. Keep your sheet metal panels in place with Clecos. Clecos have been around for decades. They were invented for holding airplanes together prior to installing thousands of rivets. When riveting it is very crucial that every single hole lines up perfectly so why not apply that technique to building hot rods? These packs of 10, 50 and 100 give you plenty to work with for small to large panels. The HF-D100 Hydraulic Installation tool is a must for any serious fabricator. This tool is very versatile as it can be used for installing dimple dies, riv nuts, and also for punching holes if you have the proper dies. It is hand operated with a pump-action and has an easy access button for releasing the pressure. Comes with 1/4-20 mandrel and hard plastic case. Additional mandrels are sold separately. 3750 lbs of pull force are perfect for the riv nut recess dies, riv nuts, flush recess dies (requires the additional mandrels sold separately) or anything requiring 3750 lbs of force or less. Crater makers require too much force for this tool.

We have developed this clean, trick alternative to keeping your tailgate flat while open but also keep your friends scratching their heads. These tailgate stops allow you to eliminate your clangy, scratchy, noisy, rusty chains! Install these into your stock tailgate with minimal modification. They are a semi-bolt on product (you will need to cut slots in the bottom of your tailgate and back of rear bed sill in order to fit and work. Also you will need to countersink the hole (or drill first if you don’t have one) so that the supplies fastener sits flush behind the stock tailgate hinge. Laser cut from 1/2” thick steel these are plenty sturdy enough to support your tailgate but we do not recommend standing or sitting on the tailgate due to the increased leverage applied to the tailgate. Sold as raw steel with stainless hardware and stainless locking plate. install these first and then install the tailgate as a whole unit. Designed to hold the tailgate open at 90 degrees. Stops should contact on the bottom of the rear bed sill when open. The #10 uses a dowel pin to align the dies while the others use threaded bolts. The 5/16 and 3/8 bolts can be used to draw the dies together however this hardware is not meant to last forever. We recommend using the provided hardware as alignment pins or starting bolts and finishing the operation with a large bench vice or hydraulic press. The Crater Makers require a lot of force, much more than some of our other dies. Use Anti-Seize or other lube to prevent galling of threads and dies!

To start, copper has a 40% MORE thermal cooling efficiency over aluminum. Paired with a proprietary serpentine fin design we use - designed by Walker Radiator - with over 600,000 louvers in each radiator. This eliminates air boundary build up inside the core. Vehicles from the 1930’s have up to 40% less core size than today’s cars/trucks. Finally an affordable solution for high flow stainless headers for your Gen3 Hemi! These were designed right here at Hammer Fab and include features like, 1/2" thick stainless flanges, 1-7/8" OD stainless primary tubes, 3" OD V-band collectors. Ground clearance will not be an issue as these do not stick down any further than the 8HP transmission oil pan. The flanges are laser cut out of 1/2" thick 304 Stainless steel then de-burred prior to assembly. The 1-7/8" primary tubes are 3D printed out of 316 stainless with .065" wall thickness. The tubes will come with a light texture raw finish (looks like cast metal). Each tube will have 2-3 TIG weld seams that will be back purged and fixtured in house. The collectors are also 3D Printed out of 316 Stainless steel and include a built in 3" V-Band flange with male protrusion (matches Stainless Bros flanges). Available in raw, TIG welded finish only.

If you plan on upgrading your 59-60 Buick with our 4L80E and LS swap kit you will also want to grab one of these. The stock K-member hoop is not quite big enough to clear the modern style drive shaft so you will need to cut out a section of your existing K-member and weld this bad boy in. It will add all the strength back and then some. It comes with a drop out, bolt in bottom plate which makes servicing the trans and driveshaft much easier. You could also use this drop out perch as an exhaust hanger mount if you wanted. This loop also serves as the exhaust pass through so that your exhaust and transmission no longer have to grab the ground or limit how low you can go!

Hammer Fab is all about metal shaping. If you are a tool junkie like us you have hunted down a Pullmax machine and now you want to deck it out with all the toys. Well, you have come to the right place! This base raises the machine 16" off the ground—about 5-6" higher than stock. We integrated massive tooling storage racks on each side between the legs. This setup requires a modified Dodge truck rear sump oil pan to achieve a 4” ground clearance. Our K-member has also been fit with a 340 small block Mopar in a 340 Formula S. This setup also requires a Dodge truck rear sump oil pan, and oil pickup. Oil pan may be modified for extra ground clearance, but is not required. Future tests will include fitting a LS engine, and even a Gen 3 Hemi engine. Gen 3 Hemi requires a Holley rear sump oil pan. We currently only guarantee the fitment of a big block Mopar, and small block Mopar but you are welcome to build and weld your own custom mounts to this bare metal K-member. *NEW- We now offer form fit stainless headers for Gen 3 Hemi. These are designed to work with our K-member specifically. They include a 1/2" thick laser cut stainless flange that bolts to the head, 316L raw textured stainless 1-7/8" primary tubes (TIG welded and fixtured for precision fit), and 3" V-band collectors (this is the only way we will sell them). We have a couple of solutions for you that won’t break the bank. 1) We developed some repair parts made from ABS plastic that you can buy and install yourself with CA clue (included) and a small torch, or….. 2) You can mail us your instrument bezel and we can repair the broken tabs for you and ship it back to you, ready to install.
