§ 01

THE BRIEF

This 1960 Buick convertible is a Hammer Fab concept available to build for the right owner. It rides on our Buick Street Connection chassis upgrades with air ride suspension, so it lays out at a show and cruises flat and quiet on the highway. Power comes from an LS backed by a 4L80E and a 9 inch rear end — the goal is not a dyno number, it's the ability to move this land yacht down the road easily and comfortably, all day long. The stance is set up for a 20 and 22 inch wheel combination tucked under those long fenders. Colors, top material, interior, and detail work are all open — those get discussed with the buyer after purchase. The renderings shown are direction studies, not final specifications.

Four color studies for the 60 Buick convertible concept. Same recipe underneath every one: Buick Street Connection chassis upgrades, air ride, LS and 4L80E, 9 inch rear end, and a 20/22 inch wheel package. Comfort cruising with enough power to move a land yacht down the road with ease.

Our Buick Street Connection chassis upgrades go underneath, with air ride suspension to set the ride height and soak up the miles. Wheel package is planned around a 20 inch front and 22 inch rear combination.

Paint, top color, wheels, and interior treatment are all still on the table. The renderings show a few directions — white over red, gold over brown, and blue with a gray or brown top — but the final look gets decided with the buyer.
